About Us

Eighth Street Designs was founded in 1999 by Daniel M. Iglesias, after retiring form the New York City Police Department. Eighth Street was co-owned and operated by Daniel and Laura Iglesias for well over 20 years, creating the go-to location for all of your custom apparel needs.

As of January 1st, 2024, the company is now located about 10 minutes away from the Carle Place flagship location @ 115 Lakeville Road New Hyde Park NY 11040. Operated by Joe, DJ, and their design and production team, they will be working the day-to-day, but the culture of the operation will always be traced back to the work Dan and Laurie put in, who grew their business from one single-head embroidery machine in a spare room in their house to the large operation they ran until the day they retired from the print industry.

Although we still specialize in Embroidered & Screen Screened Apparel for Public Services, this is not our exclusive customer base nor is it our sole product lines. We offer a full line of products from Patches, Stickers, Lapel Pins, Challenge Coins, Digitally Printed Banners along with a vast variety of Promotional Products, giveaways or gifts for your Business, School, Camp, Church or even family reunions.

We can recreate art work from an existing design or revamp it, creating a totally new refreshing look for any of your needs. Quality and care goes into every project and we provide quick timelines for delivery.
